Jenny Medlock graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a BA in English and has had various administrative assistant and customer service positions. Jenny began her career at EDS as the permanent substitute and as embraced her role as Assistant Director with dedication and enthusiasm. She lives in Exeter with her husband David and their two daughters Sarah and Katie, both of whom are EDS alumnae.
Anne Witham attended Salem State College and graduated with an Early Childhood degree in 1985. She has worked in centers and had a school based from her home for a year. She has two children and was a stay at home mother for many years. She volunteered in the public school system as well. Anne loves to work with children and is enjoying working again.
Katie Drouin is the Lead Teacher in our toddler classroom, and she joined the EDS team for the start of the 2018 school year. She comes to us with 10 years of experience as a Lead Teacher in an Early Childhood classroom, as well as 4.5 years of managing a local children's art studio. Katie has an advanced certificate in Early Childhood Education and a BS in Child/Adolescent Development.

Katie lives in Exeter with her husband, Dave, and daughter, Eleanor. When she is not working, she is spending time with her family, hiking, traveling, and learning new things!
Ali Lafreniere is the Lead Teacher in our 5-day morning preschool and 4-day pm preschool classes. She has been with EDS since 2017. Ali earned her degrees in English and Early Childhood Education from St. Michael's College in Colchester, VT.
"I absolutely love my job & feel SO grateful that I get to do what I love every day! I find true happiness in supporting children on their educational, creative, hands-on & adventurous learning experiences! I want my students to be engaged & comfortable in their learning environment. I went to college at St. Michael’s in Colchester, Vermont. I earned my degree in English and Early Childhood Education. My husband, Josh, and I met when I was in Colchester, VT. We stayed in Burlington for a while before deciding to move halfway between our families! We have lived in Exeter for eleven years & have two daughters - Evie (9) & Josie (7). Our turtle Reggie is 17 years old & our crazy puppy Lulu is 1! We love to go on boat rides, have gatherings with family & friends, spend time in the sunshine & go on overnight adventures. My personal goal is to ensure that your child loves school and that he/she wants to come back each and every day! "
Amy Morgado is the Lead Teacher in our 4-day 4-year old morning classroom, haveing also co-lead our toddler classes in previous years. She has an associate's degree in Early Childhood and, before having her own children, spent ten+ years working in infant and toddler classrooms on the Seacoast. During this time, she also directed and ran her own school. Her children came to EDS for preschool and, during those five years, she was an active member of the parents' committee and always enjoyed volunteering. Amie is happily married with two daughters.
Kristen Driscoll is the Lead Teacher for our 2-day 3-year old morning classe, having joined the EDS team during the 2015-2016 school year as Extended Day Teacher. Kristen has her M.Ed. from Rivier University in Early Childhood Education and Special Education. She lives in Exeter with her family. Kristen has three children, two of whom are EDS alumni, the third a current EDS student.
Sondra Morrissey is the Lead Teacher in our 2-day 3-year old classes and 3-day 3- & 4-year old classes. She has been working with children since she was 16 years old at an afterschool program and graduated from college with a degree in Early Childhood Education.
"I live in Hampton, NH in the town where I grew up, and I have one daughter named Camryn. When I am not teaching I can be found on the softball field. I play coed softball, coach my daughter’s team, and enjoy watching and cheering on her travel team. I also enjoy spending time with my family, going to the beach, and attending community events."
Stephanie Fiore is an Assistant Teacher in EDS Toddler program. Her experience and passion for working with young children comes from years of providing care to local families out of her home. She lives in Raymond with her two children and significant other.
Richa Mishra joined the EDS team in 2019. She works with our extended day students Monday - Thursday providing art and creative activities to our students. She has her BS in Early Childhood Education/EC Special Education. She lives in Exeter with her husband and two sons.
Ray Lassonde has been our music teacher since 1998. He has a BS degree from Granite State College and a certificate from the Berklee School of Music. He teaches music classes three full days per week and runs four of our extracurricular programs: Spanish, Musical Theater, Rhythm of the World, and Rock the Beat. Ray lives in Concord with his wife Linda and daughter Kayleigh, who is at Stevens Institute of Technology. Ray also teaches private piano lessons here at the school.
Melanie Bergin (affectionately know as "Mrs. B") is our Assistant Teacher in the 3-Day 3-year old morning classes and our lunch bunch program. She graduated from Merrimack College with BS in English. Melanie has many years under her belt of working in Design, Sales, and Fundraising, yet it was her time spent working as a Montessori Teacher in Cambridge, MA where she found her love of education. She lives in the seacoast area with her husband and two children, both of whom attended Exeter Day School. As a parent, she has volunteered on our EDS Parents Committee in the past for over five years. She is thrilled to continue enriching our school on our Teaching Team, guiding and educating our students.
Liz Dowd is our extended day teacher 11:00-6:00pm. She comes to us with a love and understanding of children after almost 20 years as teacher and center Director at Portsmouth Head Start. She lives in Portsmouth with her husband and enjoys spending time with her daughter and grandson.
Starlene Swartz is an Assistant Teacher for EDS 2 day 3 year old classroom. Her love for this field has blessed her with 15+ years of experience working with children of all abilities, working with teachers, and working with families. She has lived in Brentwood for the last 4 years with her two children. She loves to spend time in her garden or on the beach.
Melody Chartier is an Assistant Teacher for our 2-day 3-year-old morning class. She is thrilled to be working with three-year-olds at EDS as she is semi-retired from over 35 years of teaching elementary music in Exeter and Stratham. Melody has a Masters' degree in Education from Lesley University. She teaches flute lessons at CMS and loves to walk on the beach whenever she can.
After School Enrichment
Maegan McCauley started at EDS in 2009 as a substitute teacher. She is now our afternoon K-2 After School Enrichment teacher. Maegan has a BS degree from Weber State University, as well as Dual Teaching certificates from Great Bay Community College. Maegan lives in Exeter with her daughter, Peyton, who is an EDS alum.
Caroline O’Bara joined our school in 2015 as the teacher’s aide in the toddler program. She graduated from Southern New Hampshire University with a BS in Business Administration. She is now our Office Manager on Tuesday's, Wednesday's and Thursday's. Caroline lives in East Kingston with her husband Nate and their daughter, Eleanor, who is currently an EDS student.
